Richard and Vivienne Johnston

		Richard & Vivienne Johnston Dunfermline, Scotland

Richard and Vivienne are members of St. Peter’s Church, Inverkeithing, where Richard is one of the leaders.  Richard originally comes from the Aberdeen area, Vivienne from Fife, and they have been married since 2008.  Richard is Director of Christian Mindfulness, which he founded in 2014.  Through his website christianmindfulness.co.uk, Richard offers Christian Mindfulness, Christian Contemplation and Christian CBT resources, which are currently being used worldwide to enable mental wellbeing and spiritual growth.  He has completed the UK Mindfulness Association Practitioner Certificate and Mindfulness Association Foundation Course.  He also has a Living Life to the Full CBT Practitioner Certificate with Five Areas Ltd.  In addition, Richard is the founder of Revive Us Again Ministries, which seeks to encourage prayer for Holy Spirit revival through a biblical and historical understanding of revival.

The Vision and Mission Statement for Christian Mindfulness is: To equip Individuals, Churches and Christian Groups to grow closer in their relationship with God and Christ through prayer, meditation, mindfulness and contemplative practices; recovery from stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, etc..  Development of greater personal resilience and renewal of the mind; overcoming negative thought patterns; establishing the mind of Christ within.  Encouragement to take hold of personal calling in God through understanding self-acceptance and our own uniqueness and value in Christ.

Richard founded Mindful Church in 2022.

Vivienne works for the NHS as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist and has a Living Life to the Full CBT Practitioner Certificate with Five Areas Ltd.  Richard and Vivienne have been missionary associates with Globe UK since 2017.
